In 2021, UW Health designed and launched  a new website to reflect their position as a premier healthcare provider and research institution. The site had entirely new information architecture, navigation structure, and content strategy, so the team at UW Health knew that usability testing would be imperative to its success. They engaged Functionaire to conduct baseline usability research. Using both moderated and unmoderated methodologies, we executed and reported studies with actual and representative users. Our findings identified important opportunities for usability improvements and illuminated users’ perceptions of the new design.
