iOS APP
Kimberly-Clark
It takes a team to orchestrate the maintenance of a forty-story building. To help these teams deliver a perfect experience to their tenants, Kimberly-Clark developed a series of smart dispensers for restrooms. A year after installation, however, KC’s customers still didn’t have the companion app they needed to take full advantage of the benefits of the IoT system. We were hired to design this mobile app. We kicked off the project with an interdisciplinary Design-Thinking workshop and rapidly turned the ideas into prototypes. Leveraging the prototypes to conduct research, we visited sites in 3 cities to observe end-users and collect usability feedback. The project culminated in a fully fleshed-out interactive prototype that KC was able to unveil at a key industry trade show. Project kickoff to the trade show was just three months.
